Sam Welch is a screenwriter and comedian based in Los Angeles, California. She attended the University of California Los Angeles, completing their graduate-level professional program in writing for television.

Sam was born and raised in Ennis, Montana, where she learned the value of hard work, community, and most importantly, how to laugh at the world... And herself.

Ashlieya Mariano- Writer/ Producer

Ashlieya is an actress, producer, writer and all around film enthusiast with an incredible passion for bringing stories to life. She’s helped create films featured on Netflix and Amazon Prime. Ashlieya now stars in an upcoming TV series on HBO and will continue to produce films for as long as she possibly can.

Katisha Sargeant- Producer

Katisha Sargeant is a Los Angeles based actress who hails from Farmville, Virginia. Sargeant started her acting journey in theater and moved to film by college. She studied Acting for Film at the New York Film Academy in Burbank where she earned her MFA. When not acting, Katisha is a huge animal and nature lover. She loves all things mystic and dreams of being on a Sci-Fi/Fantasy television series.

Sapphire Blues is a film intended to share a wonderful story as it illuminates the richness of Montana’s history and culture. Our goal is to also generate more tourism and provide a substantial economic benefit to the rural towns and communities that will help bring this film to life.
